Since 1987, Swim Across America has hosted charity swims with one goal: to raise money for innovative cancer research that would lead to breakthrough treatments and therapies. Since then, Swim Across America has raised over $100M to fund the next generation of pioneers in oncology and cancer-support care. 

I’ve volunteered at three SAA events, doing kayak and safety boat support for SAA swimmers, and this summer I’m excited to do my first 2k swim with these amazing athletes. No matter how we choose to participate in these events, all of us have had our lives changed by loved ones who’ve fought cancer.
