Founded in 1987, Swim Across America has hosted charity swims with one goal: to raise money for innovative cancer research that would lead to breakthrough treatments and therapies. Since then, Swim Across America has raised over $100M to fund the next generation of pioneers in oncology and cancer-support care. 

I joined Swim Across America because I believe in their mission and want to help bring hope to more families. I swim for those who cannot swim for themselves—those battling for their lives every day and those who have lost their hard-fought battles.

This year, I swim in memory of Jimmy, Uncle Peter, and Gina. I also swim in honor of those close to me who are currently fighting and surviving. Their strength and courage inspire me daily. With the funds raised through Swim Across America, I hope we can find a cure for all.
