Dear Family & Friends,

I hope everyone is well!

On July 27, I will be participating again in Swim Across America. As an organization, Swim Across America hosts numerous charity swims across the country in order to help support cancer research.  

This year, I won't be able to make it to the Long Island Sound swim in Larchmont as I will be dropping off William at camp in upstate NY the night before. HOWEVER, on the same morning as the Larchmont event, I will be swimming a 2K in Mirror Lake in Lake Placid in memory of my mother-in-law, Ann Johnston who tragically passed away from cancer at the age of 50 in 2003, my grandmother who passed away from brain cancer, Theresa Spink, our Aunt in England who unfortunately lost her battle with cancer two years ago and in memory of Melissa (Clark) Dickinson who lost a courageous battle to brain cancer earlier this summer. In addition, I will be swimming in honor of our friend, Robyn Fink who is currently battling breast cancer as well as in honor of all of our other friends who are currently waging their own battles against cancer. 

If you are able, please support me by making a gift. The researchers we are funding are in our community and are the next generation of cancer pioneers. Without Swim Across America early stage funding, they are not able to conduct trials that can lead to breakthroughs that can save lives.
