This year I am excited to swim in my FIRST Swim Across America event. After volunteering for years, I was inspired to suit up and participate myself. 

I swim in honor of my dad, a strong survivor of Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. I also swim in honor of my Nana, who passed away in 2006 after a long battle with Leukemia. I am proud to be a member of Team Gina this year, making waves against all forms of cancer.
