Why I swim Across America
This Saturday I swim 1.2 miles in the Long Island Sound to battle Cancer!
I am swimming to honor of the life of Tiffany O’Toole Flaherty (55) of Rye, N.Y. who passed away last month after a valiant six year battle with ovarian cancer.
We all have so many Angels, Saints and Heroes to honor by swimming with Swim Across America with one goal: to raise money for innovative cancer research that would lead to breakthrough treatments and therapies.
If you can’t donate, please think of us on Saturday morning and say a prayer for everyone touched by cancer. And please please pray for more cures!
