1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer in our lifetime.

I joined the SWIM ACROSS AMERICA community 30 years ago to be part of the fight against cancer. This is the 20th anniversary of TEAM SABATINI, which was started in memory of my father, Bill Sabatini, who lost his battle with cancer in 2004. In the peacefulness of the water, we swim to remember him along with all our family and friends who have lost their battle. 

We also swim to be part of the continued progress in treatment and toward a cure. I pledge to swim a mile each day in July, in addition to swimming with everyone in the Long Island Sound on July 29th, and raising as much money as possible to fight cancer.
