Team Alfia
After a dignified and valiant fight against pancreatic cancer, our namesake, Alfia Livaccari, passed away on October 2, 2023. Even before she got sick, Alfia was a big supporter of Swim Across America and continued her support throughout her illness. She would want us to continue our efforts to raise money for cancer research and will undoubtedly be with us as we swim for a cure.
If you are able, please support us by making a gift. The researchers we are funding are in our community and are the next generation of cancer pioneers. Without Swim Across America early stage funding, they are not able to conduct trials that can lead to breakthroughs that can save lives.
