“SAY YES!”

Stanley Epstein was the guy you called when you had a worrisome medical problem or just felt like having some fun.  His life’s motto was, “Say Yes!” and he lived his 88 years doing just that.  

A cardiologist and patriarch to 3 children and 9 grandchildren, Stan was a generous soul who took care of countless friends, relatives, neighbors and anyone else who was lucky enough to find him.   Outside of his “wondrous bounty” –  the family he created with lifelong sweetheart Sylvia, Stanley loved nothing more than the sound of the sea and the feel of the water.  A world traveler and Clinical Professor at Columbia Medical School, Stan practiced healing well into his ‘80s.  Throughout his long and beautiful life he made sure to always smell the roses and find a place to take a dip. Goggles, a bathing suit, and later, ear plugs, were a permanent fixture in any car he drove or travel bag he carried.  

To honor his memory and raise awareness for this cause we swim for Team Stanley. We swim for donations that fund the research labs and organizations that cure cancers and save lives.  Consider joining us this summer.  Consider saying Yes!
