I have loved this event since I started at Nantucket Cottage Hospital, but the cause changed for me when my dad became an oncology patient at NCH. I was able to see firsthand the care, love and professionalism that the staff in the oncology department at NCH has.

The funds donated through Swim Across America directly make it possible for NCH to hire health care professionals, provide continuous care through a patient’s cancer treatment, and help create a link between NCH and the Cancer Center at MGH. They also make it possible for patients and their families to receive free palliative care services through PASCON.
