Since 2013, Swim Across America Nantucket has raised over $5 Million for cancer treatment, oncological services, and cancer support on Nantucket! As we approach this Saturday’s swim down at Jetties Beach, we are hopeful to reach or even surpass our 2024 goal of $700,000! 

As a swimmer for the The Maury People Sotheby's Team, I am thrilled to be a part of this heartwarming and magical community event. We give thanks to ALL the incredible swimmers, volunteers, sponsors, kayakers, and donors (that means YOU :-)). As a 16 year breast cancer thriver, this Saturday represents my 13th consecutive summer making waves here on the island I love for a cause that means the world to me. I swim because I CAN and to give back to my community that held me close in my time of need. 

With every dollar raised from Swim Across America-Nantucket, we are changing the game of cancer care on Nantucket.  Proceeds directly support our Nantucket Cottage Hospital (NCH) and the Palliative and Supportive Care of Nantucket (PASCON) oncology efforts to fund vital services for local and visiting cancer patients, minimizing their need to travel for appoinents, testing and treatment.  Our support allows NCH oncology programs to keep more Nantucket residents on-island for their cancer care, providing them a compassionate and caring environment.  We help bring world-class oncologists to the island, allowing our patients to receive treatments at home.  Through PASCON, our patients and families receive important physical, emotional and spiritual care free of charge. We are also funding groundbreaking research at the Mass General Cancer Center to further Swim Across America's mission of providing early funding to promising cancer research.
