This summer marks my second year as a swimmer for Swim Across America Nantucket. I’ve decided to take on the 4-mile swim again because I know I can go this distance and I have the determination to complete it. This year, my swim carries extra significance as we approach the 10-year mark since my mother's initial cancer diagnosis. Additionally, 2023 was a challenging year as we lost dear individuals like Deb Maytin and Toni Sousa to cancer.

Cancer’s impact is far-reaching, touching the lives of everyone, whether through personal experiences, family, friends or neighbors. Much like this swim, the fight against cancer is a daunting challenge. I am fully committed to playing my part, and I hope you will join me in supporting this vital cause.
