Founded in 1987, Swim Across America has hosted charity swims with one goal: to raise money for innovative cancer research that would lead to breakthrough treatments and therapies. Since then, Swim Across America has raised over $100M to fund the next generation of pioneers in oncology and cancer-support care. 

8 years ago I was diagnosed with a brain tumor and after having brain surgery it was found to be benign.  I later had 6 weeks of radiation and was able to recover. I was fortunate enough to live somewhat close to where I had to go for treatments and care. Now living here in Nantucket I see how important it is for people to be able to receive the care they need so close to home.  

Last year, I joined Swim Across because I believe in their mission and I want to give hope to those and their families who are fighting. I want to give you hope so you know that you are not alone in your fight. If you are able, please consider making a donation.
