Please Help Me Once Again "Make Waves to Fight Cancer!"
SWIM ACROSS AMERICA plays a crucial role in increasing the number of cancer survivors by awarding grants for research that would have previously been left unfunded. One such SAA-funded lab developed KEYTRUDA, the immunotherapy treatment that my mother-in-law, Susan, underwent to successfully fight Stage 4 colon cancer; I am incredibly grateful. So far, there have been four promising cancer therapies in the US started with seed money from SAA fundraising; a statistic that allows us hope we are on our way to eradicating cancer!
2024 marks the 3rd year that SAA-Nashville has partnered with the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center to raise funds to support specific lab research locally at VICC. Our efforts in the past 2 years have raised over $160,000, and we aim to raise over $100,000 in our 2024 SAA-Nashville event. I hope that you will help us to reach this goal!
Please consider a donation on my behalf, so that we together can Make Waves to Fight Cancer!
With heartfelt thanks,
:) Chris
