It's that time of year when I challenge myself and ask; Will I sink or swim? With your support and the loved ones I am swimming for, I am certain I will make it to the finish line. I swim with determination to find a cure in the very near future ! I swim in memory of 3 remarkable women who remain so alive in my heart : Stacey, Tammy & Sally. I also swim in memory of my very dear friends Kim Sargent & Gary Lombardi.
I swim in honor of Joan, Riley, Marlene, Mandy, Harry, Jay, and John G - You prove that Cancer can be beat !! And I swim hoping one day everyone faced with Cancer has the support of medicine to beat this horrific disease !!!
In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. I joined the SAA community so that, together, we can change that. I am challenging myself by swimming in the Sound to Cove Open Water Swim and raising as much money to fight cancer as I can. Please support me by sponsoring my swim and making a gift.
