I joined Swim Across America because I believe in their mission and want to honor my family members and dear friends who have suffered from cancer.
Founded in 1987, Swim Across America has hosted charity swims with one goal: to raise money for innovative cancer research that would lead to breakthrough treatments and therapies. Since then, Swim Across America has raised over $100M to fund the next generation of pioneers in oncology and cancer-support care.
I'll be doing the 5K swim in the Long Island Sound off Glen Cove this August 3. I would like to thank everyone who contributed to my swim last year, and if you are able, please help support me by making a donation to reach my fundraising goal this year of $1,000.
