Please join us for the 15th annual TEAM STACEY swim, held in memory of Stacey Rose Leondis. Since 2009, Team Stacey has raised over $2,110,000 for cancer research, treatment & prevention, help us continue our fight!
Stacey was a beautiful, smart and exuberant young woman. Stacey was diagnosed with osteosarcoma when she was 16 years old and passed away at the young age of 23. During those seven years, she started the FOSTER Foundation (fighting osteo sarcoma through everyday research), graduated high school, graduated Yale University and was accepted to Mount Sinai medical school.
We participate for Stacey and for SO many families and friends who have and are battling cancer. Help us raise funds for cancer research- for those we've lost, for those in treatment and for all survivors! Join, volunteer, donate!
This year we dedicate our swim to everyone who has been touched by cancer. We will always continue the fight.
We will participate holding on to the memory of three VERY special people who lost their battle to this dreadful disease-
Bobby Menges, Yolande Richards and Debbie Amodeo, three Team Stacey supporters from the very start.
In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. We joined the SAA community so that, together, we can change that. We are challenging ourselves by swimming in the Sound to Cover Swim and raising as much money to fight cancer as we can. Please support us by sponsoring our swim and making a gift. The money you give will go towards cancer research, prevention and treatment and will make an impact in the fight to find a cure. Thank you for your generosity and may it lead to a cancer-free world!
