Welcome to My Personal Page
As many of you know, my mother-in-law Mary Jo Milbank passed away this week after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. Liz's mom was a light in all of our lives. A role model as a wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, friend, cook, teacher, history buff and general fountain of information, and all-around beautiful spirit. Her grandkids called her Moose - we'll all miss Moose dearly and carry her with us.
I've been participating in a Swim Across America event in Long Island Sound each summer for the past few years. The event raises money for a wide range of cancer research and care institutions including Weill Cornell where Liz did med school and residency and MD Anderson where Mary Jo received care. I swam in honor of MJ's fight last year, and with sadness will do so again this weekend.
For me this is about MJ but unfortunately most of us have had some experience with cancer amongst our family and friends. I'm proud to honor her memory by helping to support these incredible institutions that provide clinical trials and innovative care for kids and adults who need them.
We so appreciate the love and support that you all have given Liz and our family during the past stretch and especially these past few days. Please feel no obligation whatsoever, but I'd be remiss if I didn't offer you the chance to support the next set of people fighting their cancer battles as bravely as Moose did.

Founded in 1987, Swim Across America has hosted charity swims with one goal: to raise money for innovative cancer research that would lead to breakthrough treatments and therapies. Since then, Swim Across America has raised over $100M to fund the next generation of pioneers in oncology and cancer-support care.
Thank you for helping me #MakeWavesToFightCancer.
