In February of 2017 my mom, Lauren Mcglynn Curran was diagnosed with Stage 4 non-small cell lung cancer. With the amazing help and support of friends, family, and Memorial Sloane Kettering hospital my mom was able to fight her fight for 3 years and 1 day. She was an incredible human being with a heart of gold and showed us what it meant to live and beautiful life despite its challenges. Tri-ing to beat cancer has stuck around for my moms battle all 3 years and helped me and my family through so much. I am here donating for my mom and all those who are fighting and have fought alongside this amazing team. Please support the amazing cause!!
In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. I joined the Swim Across America community so that, together, we can change that.
If you are able, please support me by making a gift. The researchers we are funding are in our community and are the next generation of cancer pioneers. Without Swim Across America early stage funding, they are not able to conduct trials that can lead to breakthroughs that can save lives. Thank you for helping make an impact in the fight to find a cure!
