I joined Swim Across America because I believe in their mission. As a cancer survivor, I feel grateful to have the opportunity to participate in such a positive event. I also want to honor and support others who face the challenges of such a diagnosis and help give more families hope. This year is especially important to me, as I swim in remembrance of my dad who passed away from cancer a few months ago. 

Founded in 1987, Swim Across America has hosted charity swims with one goal: to raise money for innovative cancer research that would lead to breakthrough treatments and therapies. Since then, Swim Across America has raised over $100M to fund the next generation of pioneers in oncology and cancer-support care. 

On Saturday, August 3rd, I will be completing the 5K swim with Team Carolyn, to help honor Carolyn Chestler. If you are able, please support me by making a donation to help me reach my fundraising goal. Any amount is greatly appreciated.
