As always, I will be participating in Swim Across America in memory of my courageous, inspiring and effervescent "double" cousin, Stacey. I'll be swimming the 1/2 mile in Greece this year while thinking about Stacey's strength -- and hopefully helping us to get closer to her goal of funding research and eradicating cancer.

In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. I joined the Swim Across America community so that, together, we can change that.
