Founded in 1987, Swim Across America has hosted charity swims with one goal: to raise money for innovative cancer research that would lead to breakthrough treatments and therapies. Since then, Swim Across America has raised over $100M to fund the next generation of pioneers in oncology and cancer-support care. 

I joined Swim Across America because I believe in their mission. My mom used to swim in the San Francisco Bay for this cause as she was a Pediatric Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant Nurse until she moved across the country to raise me. Her Aunt Gwennie even surprised her to welcome her out of the bay just after she finished chemotherapy. Please help by donating to this cause—the donations go straight to cancer research and care.
