Founded in 1987, Swim Across America has hosted charity swims with one goal: to raise money for innovative cancer research that would lead to breakthrough treatments and therapies. Since then, Swim Across America has raised over $100M to fund the next generation of pioneers in oncology and cancer-support care. 

I joined Swim Across America because I believe in their mission and want to help give more families hope facing cancer. If you are able, please support me by making a donation to help our team reach its fundraising goal. 

I swam in this event the past two years, the first year with my grandson Palmer and we had a great time. Now that I know what it is about, I want to invite swimmers to join our team, the Schumann Family, and swim with us in the event on September 28th. The $50 registration counts as your donation. It's great fun, an easy workout, and for a great cause.
