Dear Friends and Family,
On Saturday, September 7th, 2024, I will be participating in a one mile ocean swim alongside my Holy Cross Swimming & Diving teammates to raise money for cancer research through Swim Across America.
I am swimming in memory of my grandfather, Axel Kaufmann, who fought long and hard against skin cancer and lymphoma, my great uncle, Charles Allen, who battled liver cancer, in honor of my aunt Pascale, who is a breast cancer survivor, and for so many others who have dealt with cancer in their lives.
