This is my third time swimming for SAA and it'll definitely not be my last! Yes, there are statistics out there that will tell you the diagnoses of cancer, however, the main goal is to tip the scales so that those numbers decline and survival rates increase. 

In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. Alongside the Wesleyan Swim and Dive team, I joined the Swim Across America community so that, together, we can strive towards a future of breakthroughs in cancer research!
