For the third year in a row, I am braving my fears of open water swims (ugh, jellyfish) for Swim Across America, swimming in honor of my dear, beloved mother-in-law, Marsha Portaro Haas. It's hard to believe it's been 8 years of missing her. This year, cancer took - way too early - the dear young mother of a friend of mine. And we all know way too many people who have been impacted.
