Cancer has affected my family and those around me greatly. 

When I was only two years old my aunt passed away after fighting a hard battle with breast cancer. Now one of my other aunts has stage 4 breast cancer and at this time is in hospice with no additional treatments available. I have seen first hand how hard it is for them and others along with the pain those families feel watching their loved ones struggle. 

My swim team has also experienced swimmers dealing with cancer - this year I swim for my teammate Dustin as well as all those who have had similar paths. 

I am swimming in this race to help raise awareness as well as funds for cancer research. I would greatly appreciate any donations Thank you for your support!
