Founded in 1987, Swim Across America has hosted charity swims with one goal: to raise money for innovative cancer research that would lead to breakthrough treatments and therapies. Since then, Swim Across America has raised over $100M to fund the next generation of pioneers in oncology and cancer-support care. 

I joined Swim Across America because I believe in their mission and want to help give more families hope. Some people on my swim team are suffering from cancer.  I want to do my best to give back so it would mean the world to me if you would donate and i. know it would mean the world to families currently suffering in and out treatments.  Also, Elizabeth Beisel, an Olympic winning swimmer and former Bluefish athlete (the team I swim for), will be hosting the event!  So if we are lucky, my teammates and I may get to meet her at this event. So if you are able to donate, please consider donating to raise as much money for this charity as possible.
