I joined Swim Across America because I believe in their mission and want to help give more families hope. This has become even more important to me as my mother was diagnosed with cancer this past spring. Having multiple family members with cancer and seeing the treatments first hand, it emphasizes the importance of continuously supporting the people pioneering cancer research.
