Founded in 1987, Swim Across America has hosted charity swims with one goal: to raise money for innovative cancer research that would lead to breakthrough treatments and therapies. Since then, Swim Across America has raised over $100M to fund the next generation of pioneers in oncology and cancer-support care.
In 2020, my grandfather passed away from lung cancer, leaving a big hole in my heart. Shortly after, my grandma was diagnosed with colon cancer and underwent surgery. Despite her relentless battle, her cancer returned in 2023, and she continues to fight with incredible bravery. Throughout my life, they have been my greatest inspirations and cheerleaders. Their unwavering support and encouragement have been a constant source of strength for me, especially in swimming.
Seeing my grandparents suffer from cancer breaks my heart. But their positivity, courage, and resilience continue to inspire me every day. To honor their spirit and support all those affected by cancer, I am participating in Swim Across America. Your donation can make a significant impact in our fight against this devastating disease.
If you are able, please support me and Brown Men’s Swim and Dive by making a donation so we can beat this dreaded disease.
Thank you for helping me #MakeWavesToFightCancer.
