Almost as old as me, since 1987, Swim Across America has hosted events to raise money for cancer research that has already lead to breakthrough treatments and therapies. In all, Swim Across America has raised over $100M to fund the next generation of cancer-support care. 

I joined SAA this year because I believe in their mission and want to help give more families hope. I will be swimming alongside my NEW team, and while I may not be as fast as they are, I am hoping to raise more money than they do!
