I am swimming in the SAA SF Bay in memory of my son David Drew.  He passed away in 2011, at the age of 10 from pediatric cancer. He was a sweet, spunky kid who loved swimming. I swim in his memory in hopes that one day, families will not have endure the heartbreak of losing a child to cancer. 

I believe in supporting those who work to improve the lives of cancer survivors and those who are making steady progress in saving lives of those who are diagnosed with this terrible disease. Both UCSF and Children's Hospital Oakland work for our children in the Bay Area.
