We can do hard things! Team Badass Grandma is raising money for Swim Across America. I am raising funds to honor my brother, Dan Fine, and several friends who are currently battling cancer!
We all need to pull together to help support cancer research! This battle is not successful unless we can find new treatments for cancer to ensure increased survival. Working at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital as a Registered Nurse for the past 26 years, I been part of the cutting-edge research protocols that are now standard of practice across the nation. I feel privileged to have been a part of this care.
Founded in 1987, Swim Across America has hosted charity swims with one goal: to raise money for innovative cancer research that would lead to breakthrough treatments and therapies. Since then, Swim Across America has raised over $100M to fund the next generation of pioneers in oncology and cancer-support care.
I joined Swim Across America because I believe in their mission and want to help give more families hope. If you are able, please support me by making a donation to help me reach my fundraising goal.
Thank you for helping me #MakeWavesToFightCancer.
