Family, Friends and Colleagues.

I am participating in two swims to raise funds to fight cancer for the UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital. On July 15, with 5 other friends including Ellie (my daughter) we will be swimming the Trans Tahoe Relay, about 10 miles across Lake Tahoe, CA, and my 6th Swim Across America (SAA) a 1.5 mile solo swim in the San Francisco Bay, on September 30.  I’ll be dedicating my swims to all that have courageously fought or are fighting cancer.  As in previous years, I am swimming in memory of Shira and this year will also be dedicating my swim to two colleagues and friends to  many of us, Jeff F. & Ellen S. and Millette & John L. and their families.  They were recently diagnosed and are wishing all of them an easy and  full recovery.

The researchers we are funding are in our community and are the next generation of cancer pioneers. Without SAA early stage funding, they are not able to conduct trials that can lead to breakthroughs that can save lives. Thank you for helping make an impact in the fight to find a cure!
