I joined the Swim Across America community based on my girlfriend's, Jen's experience successfully recovering from cancer, and our shared love of swimming. Swimming in the San Francisco Bay with friends and colleagues has been a wonderful experience to connect with friends and colleagues, and also given us the satisfaction of being part of a team that has contributed over $100k to pediatric cancer care and research at the USCF Benioff Children's Hospitals in the Bay Area during our participation.
