Hello! I’m Amritha Surya and I have been swimming competitively and recreationally since I was three years old. Swim Across America is the perfect opportunity to combine my love of swimming with helping others by supporting cancer research, patient treatments, and clinical trials. 

Swim Across America is a charity swim event that has granted over $100M to support the advancement of cancer patient needs such as detection, immunotherapy, gene sequencing, and youth survivorship. I've lost an aunt and an uncle close to me, so making an impact in the fight against cancer is very personal. I will be swimming in the San Francisco Bay and the gift donation proceeds will go to the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital.
