Founded in 1987, Swim Across America has hosted charity swims with one goal: to raise money for innovative cancer research that would lead to breakthrough treatments and therapies. Since then, Swim Across America has raised over $100M to fund the next generation of pioneers in oncology and cancer-support care. 

This is my second Swim Across America swim, and I am swimming with my Open Water Team KeckCrewSF. This summer I swam the Del Valle Open Water festival race and completed an English Channel crossing as part of an awesome KeckCrewSF relay team. KeckCrewSF is a team of middle and high school kids passionate about the open water that trains at Aquatic Park and do swims around the Bay and further afield. 

I love open water swimming and I am doing the Swim Across America because I believe in their mission to help fight cancer.
