Help with my tragic H2O addiction!
For the last three decades -- I'll jump into just about any visible body of open water and start swimming. This spring and summer: the Mediterranean, Lake Sammamish, Lake Washington, and Schoodic Lake. And this September 7, I'll be joining several hundred similarly addicted friends and assorted cancer survivors, doing just that, from the shore of beautiful Lake Sammamish, just east of Seattle. Here's your chance to join in the fun, and support the cause.
And, about that:
In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. I joined the SAA community so that, together, we can change that. I am challenging myself by swimming in the Seattle Open Water Swim and raising as much money to fight cancer as I can. Please support me by sponsoring my swim and making a gift. The money you give will go towards cancer research, prevention and treatment and will make an impact in the fight to find a cure. Thank you for your generosity and may it lead to a cancer-free world! You can make a credit card donation here, or if you'd rather send a check (put my name in the memo) to Swim Across America - Seattle, 6917 93rd Avenue SE Mercer Island, WA 98040
