Team Pisty is back in the water making waves to fight cancer on Sept 7! 

I just celebrated 9 years as a breast cancer survivor! Swimming has always been a place of calm for me and finding Swim Across America in 2016 amidst multiple surgeries and treatment was a welcome reminder that I could be strong and powerful in my body. It has also become an inspiring tradition for our gaggle of family and friends to honor and remember many others we know and love who have experienced the pain and loss of cancer. This year, our family is swimming in honor of my cousin, Nancy.

Since 2016, Team Pisty has raised close to $60,000! The funds from Seattle Swim Across America go directly to local cancer research pioneers at the Fred Hutch Cancer Center in Seattle. Swim Across America is supporting cutting edge trials that pave the way to additional funding and breakthroughs that are helping people survive and thrive. You can learn more here:
