My mom (Shirley), my sister (Alexa), and Team Benoit have been my new “swim team” since 2017.  Each year, I’ve dedicated a couple of months of training in Green Lake, Puget Sound, and local pools to swim and raise money in the fight against cancer.  

This event holds even more importance to me because in 2020 I joined the ranks of breast cancer patient and now survivor.  I am swimming for myself, those currently fighting (my mother-in-law, Debbie) and all those we have lost to this terrible disease.

I look forward to joining this inspiring, fun, and courageous crew again.
