Hi Friends & Family,

I hope this note finds you all doing well! I’m happy to say that our family is back in the water to raise funds for a cause very close to our hearts. This has been our families mission since we lost our sister and her son, Kalany and Mathew Benoit over 11 years ago to different cancers. Not to mention so many others since then. We are continuing in Mathews footsteps by participating on the team that he started in his mom’s honor. This event helps raise funds for Seattle Cancer Care Alliance for cancer research. 

My challenge will be the 1/2 mile open water swim but some will swim one and two mile stints.  As challenging as this is for me, it’s nothing compared to the challenge  these 2 and so many more battled with their fight against cancer.
