Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I've signed up for Swim Across America to help fund research and clinical trials for Cancer. 

We all have a story to tell when it comes to cancer. I swim for:

a best friend who received a lifesaving bone marrow transplant over 20 years ago at Fred Hutch and is living her best life today.

my father in law who is bravely fighting prostate cancer.

a dear friend from masters swimming who is a survivor who inspires me and keeps on swimming!

For those of you who have known me for a long time, you know I've been raising money to help organizations cure cancer since 2003. I personally have raised well over $150K to help fund cancer research and clinical trials through various organizations but I'm not done yet. There is still a lot of work to do. 

What I love about Swim Across America is that the money we raise goes directly to Doctors and researchers doing groundbreaking research at Fred Hutch in Seattle. One of the doctors from Fred Hutch just received an $800K grant for Pancreatic cancer. These are young doctors who wouldn't receive funds without our help.
