Making Waves To Fight Cancer: Stage IV CRC Survivor
I swim and fundraise for Swim Across America because far too many people - myself and numerous loved ones included - have been affected by cancer. I am ready for a world where no family fears this disease.
Brianna Mercker, Stage IV Colorectal Cancer Survivor
I am excited to participate in my sixth Swim Across America. This event is important to me as a recent cancer survivor (5 years NED) and lifelong swimmer. I am so fortunate to be here and able to make waves to fight cancer in honor of those who cannot. Please consider swimming alongside me in Lake Sammamish on Saturday, September 7th!
In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. I joined the SAA community so that, together, we can change that. I challenge myself by swimming 1 mile in the Seattle Open Water Swim and raising as much money to fight cancer as I can. Please support me by sponsoring my swim and making a gift. The money you give will go towards cancer research, prevention and treatment and will make an impact in the fight to find a cure. Thank you for your generosity and may it lead to a cancer-free world!
