I am here to share an important and deeply personal endeavor that I am undertaking, and I am asking for your support.

In honor of my dear friend Laurie Ballard, who is currently bravely battling breast cancer, and in memory of my beloved mother, who passed away in 2021 after her own fight with this relentless disease, I am participating in an open water swim to raise funds for cancer research. This cause is incredibly close to my heart, and I am determined to make a meaningful impact in the fight against cancer.

My goal is to raise $5,000.00 by September 6th, 2024, and every dollar raised will go directly to supporting cancer research, helping to find better treatments and ultimately, a cure for this devastating disease.

I will be pushing my limits and swimming 1 mile to honor the strength and courage of Laurie, my mother, and countless others who have faced cancer. This swim represents not just a physical challenge, but a symbol of hope and solidarity for everyone affected by cancer.
