Founded in 1987, Swim Across America has hosted charity swims with one goal: to raise money for innovative cancer research that would lead to breakthrough treatments and therapies. Since then, Swim Across America has raised over $100M to fund the next generation of pioneers in oncology and cancer-support care. 

I joined Swim Across America because I believe in their mission, to show support, and similar to many others here, because of how cancer has affected those dear to me. I also recently started a position at Seattle Children's Hospital working in a Orthopedic Bone Tumor Physician Assistant role. We work very closely with heme/oncology and those that are seen at Fred Hutch. Outside of work, I'd love to continue to show support to my patients as well as all of those, including their familes, that have gone through or are going through unimaginable difficulties in life.
