Welcome to My Personal Page
Founded in 1987, Swim Across America has hosted charity swims with one goal: to raise money for innovative cancer research that would lead to breakthrough treatments and therapies. Since then, Swim Across America has raised over $100M to fund the next generation of pioneers in oncology and cancer-support care.
I joined Swim Across America and pledged to swim one mile in Lake Sammamish on September 7th because, during the last four years, three of my family members have been diagnosed with cancer; my Grandfather with neuroendocrine cancer that took his life in 2021, my Grandmother with breast cancer that she successfully beat in 2023, and my Mother with multiple myeloma that she is currently battling while receiving medical care from Fred Hutch Cancer Center. I hope to help raise money for all those who are given the unfortunate news that they or a loved one has cancer. I also joined in support of my friend and Sequim Sea Dragons Team Captain Melanie Byrne and her family members, especially her mother and grandmother, who have been affected by cancer. All donations go directly to Fred Hutch Cancer Center in Seattle and support cancer research and treatment for those in need.
Thank you for your support!
