Welcome to Team Microsoft and Friends in Seattle; a Microsoft PNW team made up of all current and past Microsoft employees and contractors, as well as all of our families and friends dedicated to fighting cancer. Volunteering and giving is a definitive part of the Microsoft culture and ingrained in our company values. We are raising money for early career cancer investigators at the Fred Hutch Cancer Center who desperately need additional funding to help find the next cancer breakthrough.

You can be anywhere on the planet and join our team this year via the virtual SAA My Way Virtual Option. This means that you can fundraise, ride your bike, walk, run, or participate in any way you want from anywhere in the world alongside our Microsoft colleagues and their friends. While physically joining us in Seattle might not be possible for everyone; please still consider supporting the team Microsoft Seattle in any capacity you are comfortable this year. This could mean organizing virtual regional events, registering to race, donating to a participant, or just simply telling your story of why you swim or participate. Join in and DON'T MISS OUT!

1. September 7 Event Swimmer - Meet up with the Microsoft team, and together, swim in Lake Sammamish on September 7 to show support for cancer research. You can choose to swim distances of 0.5, 1, and 2 miles.
