Welcome to Team Amazon & Friends in Seattle! We are made up of current and past Amazon employees and contractors, as well as our families and friends. Volunteering and giving is an important part of the Amazon culture. This year, through the Swim Across America (SAA) swim event in Seattle on Saturday, September 7, 2024, we are raising money for early career cancer investigators at the Fred Hutch Cancer Center who desperately need additional funding to help find the next cancer breakthrough.

We invite you to participate in any way you wish, from anywhere in the world, alongside our Amazon colleagues and their families and friends. This could mean donating to a participant, helping to fundraise, organizing or participating in virtual events, registering to race, or simply telling your story for why you participate. While physically joining us in Seattle might not be possible for everyone, it's easy to participate from anywhere via the SAA My Way virtual option.
