Founded in 1987, Swim Across America has hosted charity swims with one goal: to raise money for innovative cancer research that would lead to breakthrough treatments and therapies. Since then, Swim Across America has raised over $100M to fund the next generation of pioneers in oncology and cancer-support care. 

I joined Swim Across America because I believe in their mission and want to help give more families hope. I have been swimming competitively for 9 years now and usually find more peace in the water than out. I am fighting for my uncle John who is battling pancreatic cancer right now. John not only is a great father to his son but he is also very friendly and fun to be around. I have known him for my whole life and my whole family is very grateful for him.
