Wyatt's Swim for Cancer Research
Hello everyone!!! In April of 2018 my mom was diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer at the age of 45. It was a very scary time for me a then 1st grader. In 2020, I learned about Swim Across America and did my first 1/2 mile swim in the open water. This year I will be swimming 2 miles in honor of my Mom, who remains Cancer Free, family and friends who have lost their battle or are fighting now.
All money raised stays local and goes to Dr Metts with John Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Pete for the fight against pedantic cancer.
Please consider donating to the very special cause.
Founded in 1987, Swim Across America has hosted Founded in 1987, Swim Across America has hosted charity swims with one goal: to raise money for innovative cancer research that would lead to breakthrough treatments and therapies. Since then, Swim Across America has raised over $100M to fund the next generation of pioneers in oncology and cancer-support care.
I joined Swim Across America because it was a way for me to give back and do what I enjoy…swimming. I believe in their mission and want to help give more families hope. If you are able, please support me by making a donation to help me reach my fundraising goal.
Thank you for helping me #MakeWavesToFightCancer.
