It has been 15 years since Baltimore joined Swim Across America – 14 for me. Unfortunately, the need for us to gather every year continues. Cancer continues to devastate families, quickly or slowly, the end result is the same and is unbearable. Please help me fight cancer AND celebrate my healthy happy birthday by donating today!

SAA is a celebration of all of the people we are so fortunate to have in our lives. For those who have shown incredible grace and courage during their battles with cancer, our family and friends who have bravely fought this fight - some who have prevailed and those who have lost. I continue to be inspired that one day we can eradicate cancer once and for all.  

The Swim Across America Lab at Johns Hopkins, funded by this swim, supported the clinical trials for the groundbreaking and lifesaving cancer drug – KeyTruda.

This year, Swim Across America Baltimore will fund a series of new and exciting research projects that will explore immunotherapy for metastatic pancreatic cancer, tumor environments of high-grade neuroendocrine carcinomas, subtypes of prostate cancer for better outcomes and relapse factors of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL).
